As Founder of S&F Concrete, Antonio brings over 50 years of construction experience to the forefront of the company. Antonio is a proud member of Local 51- Cement Masons, and served on the Massachusetts Workers Compensation Advisory Council. His hard work and dedication to S&F Concrete has helped build a strong and lasting foundation for years to come. Antonio received his Doctor of Public Administration Honoris Causa from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
For 50 yrs as Founder, Joseph Frias has had an involvement with virtually all of the S&F projects actively on site or in the trenches with the men. He has owned and operated S&F Concrete with dignity and pride – putting quality at the top of the list for all projects. Locally, Joseph is a member of Local 51- Cement Masons and was a member of Laborers International.
As President of S&F Concrete Rodney brings over 30 years of construction experience to the table. Prior to his position as President, Rodney was a Field Engineer and Project Manager for S&F, working on projects, 111 Huntington in Boston, Northeastern University Residence Hall, Delta Airlines Terminal A and dozens of other high-profile projects. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Northeastern University, and is a trustee of the Laborers’ Union Pension Fund, New England Laborers’ Apprenticeship, Train & Health & Safety Fund, Massachusetts Construction Advancement Fund and the North Atlantic State Carpenters Benefit Funds. He is also serving on the Board of Directors Building Trades Employment Association.
Peter J. Moskos, P.E.
Executive Vice President
Peter brings 50 years of construction experience to his role as Executive Vice President at S&F Concrete. Peter has successfully managed high profile projects that have received recognition in the construction industry such as Fleet Center, Carnegie Abbey in Portsmouth, RI and MIT Stata Center in Cambridge, MA and Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, MA. With Peter’s estimating management and expertise he has been a key factor in propelling the company to where it is today. He holds degrees from Northeastern University and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.
EXECUTIVE Vice President
Pat brings over 35 years of experience as Executive Vice President. In the early 1990’s Pat developed the estimating database that the company uses today. He has been involved in some of S&F’s largest projects, Millenium Place, Liberty Place, MGH Yawkey Center, Winthrop Tower, Encore Boston Harbor and OMNI Hotel. He also assists with estimating, scheduling and negotiating projects. Pat works closely with clients developing unique solutions to resolve scheduling issues, site logistics, and other issues that develop during the construction process.
Bassel comes from a structural engineering background and has over 30 years of construction experience. He works very hard to maintain professional relationships with clients and share his knowledge of concrete construction. He spends countless hours working in the preconstruction phase with contractors tackling problems including site logistics, constructability and schedule. He makes it a priority to find cost effective ways to build while still satisfying the structural and architectural requirements. He ensures that all projects are completed on time and within budget
